Bringing a fresh perspective to real estate in Wellington City
Despite being new to the industry, Luke Hazeltons passion for property isn’t. Real estate has always intrigued him. Fond childhood memories include watching property shows on TV with his parents, and guessing the value of each property. Now, it’s certainly less of a guessing game! With extensive training, in-depth knowledge and a supportive and experienced team surrounding him, Luke is well prepared for his break into the industry as a real estate consultant at Harcourts Wellington City.
He has spent the last five years down South in Dunedin. Here, he completed his studies at the University of Otago, and then worked for the university. It was there that he realised that he wanted to have a bigger impact on peoples lives. It therefore made perfect sense to join a people driven industry in an area he is passionate about.
Having grown up in Palmerston North, Luke has been very familiar with Wellington from an early age. He says that “moving here as an adult has not only increased my breadth of knowledge of the city, but has also increased my love and appreciation for the capital”. As a Thorndon resident, his knowledge of the property market within the area is extensive. He boasts that Thorndon has a “calm and helpful community, whose pride in their suburb is reflected in its streets and houses”.
Responsibility and respect are the two leading mantras that Luke has as he heads into real estate. This involves responsibility to the client, by being transparent, communicative, and ensuring they achieve the best prices possible. And in addition, respect – to the clients, their reason for business, and their property goals.
Youthful, energetic and with exceptional people skills, Luke brings an exciting new avenue as a real estate consultant in Wellington City. He offers high energy and motivation to work tirelessly to achieve his clients goals. As a result, he believes this puts him in a great position for success.
Luke acknowledges that some people may associate his youth with inexperience. However, he prefers to approach it from a different mindset. He instead associates it with motivation, and a fresh perspective to meeting his clients needs. “As we are moving further into a digital world, my knowledge and proficiency with a range of social media and advertising platforms will open up a new variety of avenues to my clients.”
Luke says “I’m really excited to start and get stuck in” – and so are we. Welcome to the team Luke!
